Laura W. Schatz, L.Ac, MSTOM, Dipl.Om, RYT-500

Laura is a licensed acupuncturist (L.Ac) in RI, CT, MA and NY, and national board certified clinical herbalist. She is recognized with the distinction of Diplomat of Oriental Medicine (dipl.Om) by the NCCAOM.

In addition to being passionate about digestive health and gynecology, she regularly works with a wide range of concerns including but not limited to: pain management and musculoskeletal disorders, dermatology, mental health and stress, neuropathy and post-stroke recovery, auto-immune disease, seasonal and food allergies, chronic fatigue, addiction and trauma recovery.

She earned her Master’s degree from Pacific College of Science and Health in New York City. Following this rigorous four year full-time curriculum with focus in acupuncture and herbalism, she is currently pursuing her Doctorate with Pacific College.

Prior to her studies in Chinese medicine, Laura graduated from Northwestern University with a B.M. in music. A lifelong cellist and singer, Laura writes, produces and performs regularly both regionally and nationally.
