TREATMENT
You’ll lie down on the massage table (either prone, on your back, or in some cases on your side). I then needle a unique combination of points based on your intake and, with your permission, local palpation of points.
You will probably feel sensation both at the time of needle insertion or during the treatment. This is totally normal! Sensations range from tingling, dull ache, throbbing, local warmth, to nothing at all,
Sometimes people experience momentary pain upon insertion or at times during treatment. This can be normal and safe, but if the pain does not dissipate and/or becomes distracting then I’ll simply remove or adjust the needle.
you rest with the needles by yourself for 25- 40 minutes.
Where applicable, I’ll do cupping, moxibustion, gua-sha or tui-na either while the needles are in or after the needles have been pulled
